Enigma Exposed - Oxymoron defined.

Have you ever felt like you needed to get over yourself? You ever look in the mirror and say to yourself: “Self, do you realize that it really isn’t that serious?” You ever feel like you need to expose yourself a little? Laugh at yourself a little? Be laughed at a little?

You ever wake up and want to stop concealing the insane oddball that resides under the controlled mask you wear everyday? You ever just want to divulge the real you and let the chips fall where they may...all in the name of recognizing, owning, and embracing your own ridiculousness…?

Nah, me neither, but I’m doing it anyway.

Quick. Share.
Glee Does Bey

Hi all! I know I've been slacking lately, my apologies. Today's Quick. Share. is comedy perfection personified. A TC buddy shared the following clip this morning and I almost got in trouble at work because I could not contain the giddy fit of hysteria that ensued shortly thereafter.

This is a perfect follow-up to my Musicals post, as the clip is a scene from Glee, Fox's new prime time musical comedy series (which I hear may overtake Ugly Betty's stronghold on the ever celebrated 'prevailing underdog' theme). The idea of a musical comedy television series is both fascinating and scary to my inner nerd. I was a huge fan of the fantastical fairytale inspired ABC series "Pushing Daisies,"which featured the occasional over the top character breaking into song. However, that series, though critically acclaimed for its uniqueness, was unfortunately short lived, so my fear is that Glee will also be under-appreciated (though if it can maintain the level of comedy it achieves in the clip below, we may end up having a winner).

I am wary to admit that I caught an early episode of Glee and was not immediately impressed. My homegirl D told me I was missing the bus - and to report to fox.com for missed episodes immediately. After seeing this clip, I think she may be right!! Enjoy!
